1. Purpose
WieBad LLC has adopted this Minimum Advertised Price Policy to protect the value of the
WieBad brand, to support dealers who invest in presenting our products properly, and to keep
a level advertising field across every channel that carries WieBad.
2. This is a unilateral policy
This Policy is not an agreement. WieBad adopts it unilaterally. WieBad does not ask any
dealer to agree to it, does not seek assurance of compliance, and does not negotiate its
terms. No dealer’s acceptance is sought or required.
Dealers remain entirely free to set their own actual resale prices. This Policy governs
advertised prices only. Nothing in it restricts the price at which any dealer may actually
sell a WieBad product.
WieBad will not discuss this Policy with any dealer beyond restating it, and will not accept
any dealer’s commitment to comply.
3. The MAP price
MAP is 95% of the current published MSRP — that is, a product may be advertised at up to
5% below MSRP, and no lower.

The current MSRP for every product is the price published at wiebadgear.com. MAP moves
automatically with MSRP.
4. What counts as advertising
MAP applies to any price communicated publicly or to a broad audience, including:
- Websites, product pages, category pages and landing pages
- Search, display, social and marketplace advertising
- Email campaigns and newsletters
- Print, catalog, radio, television, signage and trade show material
- Coupon codes, sitewide discounts or promotions that publicly display a net price below MAP
- Price comparison engines and affiliate feeds
MAP does not apply to:
- The price actually charged at checkout or in store
- Prices shown only after an item is added to the cart, or only in the cart itself
- Prices quoted privately to an individual customer, in person, by phone or by email
- Bundles, provided no individual WieBad product is shown below MAP
5. Advertising WieBad products below MAP
Advertising “click for price,” “add to cart to see price,” “call for price,” or similar is
permitted, provided no price below MAP is displayed publicly.
Strikethrough or “compare at” pricing that displays any price below MAP is not permitted.
6. Exceptions
WieBad may announce temporary MAP exceptions — for example, seasonal promotions, closeouts,
or discontinued items. Any exception applies to all dealers equally, is announced in writing,
and applies only for the stated period.
Products designated by WieBad as discontinued or clearance are exempt from MAP from the
date of that designation.
7. Consequences of advertising below MAP
WieBad monitors advertised pricing. Where WieBad determines that a dealer has advertised
below MAP, WieBad may, at its sole discretion and without discussion or negotiation:
- First instance — written notice, with a request to correct within 5 business days
- Second instance — suspension of dealer pricing for 90 days
- Third instance — permanent termination of the dealer account
WieBad may skip directly to suspension or termination where the conduct is deliberate,
repeated, or materially damaging to the brand.
These are unilateral decisions by WieBad about whom it chooses to sell to. They are not
penalties, they are not negotiated, and WieBad will not seek or accept any promise of future
compliance as a condition of reinstatement.
8. Administration
This Policy is administered solely by WieBad management. No WieBad employee, sales
representative or agent is authorized to grant exceptions, negotiate terms, solicit
compliance, or discuss any dealer’s pricing with another dealer.
Reports of below-MAP advertising may be sent to info@wiebad.com. WieBad decides
independently what action, if any, to take.
9. Changes
WieBad may modify or discontinue this Policy at any time, effective on publication at https://wiebadgear.com/map-policy/.
