How to Wear It (Inner/Outer Belt System)
-
Put on the inner belt first.
Thread the included 1.5″ inner belt through your belt loops like a normal belt, with the hook-and-loop side oriented so the outer belt can mate to it. Snug it up and secure it comfortably. -
Set up your outer belt.
Attach your holster, mag pouches, and belt-mounted gear to the 1.75″ outer belt the way you want it laid out. -
Mate the outer belt to the inner belt.
Wrap the outer belt around your waist over the inner belt, align it where you want it, then press firmly around the full circumference so the hook-and-loop fully engages. -
Final check.
Move, squat, and draw (unloaded) to confirm your gear stays put and nothing shifts. If you feel hot spots, re-seat the belt and adjust the inner belt snugness.
Pro tip: When mating the belts, take an extra second to press and “seat” the hook-and-loop all the way around—full contact = maximum stability.
Sizing Note: Vanity Sizing + Our Fit Recommendation
Order your belt size as: pants size + 2 inches.
This belt is designed to run 2″ larger than your pant size for the right fit, especially when worn as an inner/outer system.
Example:
-
Wear 34 pants → order a 36 belt
-
Wear 36 pants → order a 38 belt
What is vanity sizing (and why it matters)?
Many pants are “vanity sized,” meaning the number on the tag (like 34″) doesn’t always match your actual waist measurement. Two pairs of “34” pants from different brands can fit very differently.
Best way to confirm your size
If your pant sizing varies between brands (or you’re between sizes), use this method:
-
Measure your waist where you actually wear the belt (through belt loops / over your typical base layer).
-
Take that measurement and add 2 inches.
-
Choose the belt size closest to that number.
Between sizes? If you’re right on the edge, sizing up is usually the safer move—especially if you run thicker clothing layers or carry a heavier loadout.
