A belt worn hard fails in two places: the webbing goes soft and folds over, or the buckle gives. This one is built against both. Layers of webbing reinforced with rubber belting material keep it rigid through range days, training, travel and daily carry — and it’s made in the USA.
The buckle is an ITW Nexus GT Cobra, an all-polymer Cobra system with a targeted 500 lbf tensile load. Being polymer rather than metal buys three things some people need and others never think about: it’s lighter, it’s quiet, and it’s IR-reduction compliant.
