Description

The MAD is a two-part cover, and the split is the point. The inner core takes 3000°F sustained — that’s the part doing the real work. The outer sleeve is interchangeable, so you can change the cover to suit the environment you’re in, or the mood you’re in, without buying a whole new cover.

Here’s the honest limit. We tested these with semi-autos and full-autos. The inner core held up fine to five full-auto mag dumps. The outer sleeve will not — it melts after three. In fairness, your suppressor isn’t built to run five mag dumps as fast as you can go either, and we don’t recommend finding out. Behind a bolt gun, which is where most of these live, none of that is a concern: it works flawlessly.
