Description
The Tac Pad was built to work more than one way. Set it into the open spaces of a position — filling the gaps between you, the ground, and the rifle to eliminate muscle strain and decrease wobble, which is what puts the shot where you called it. Or strap it to your arm and make a small point of contact into a large one: elbow to knee is the classic, the joint that never quite meets.
It was designed as part of the Ultra Light Series, so it earns its place in a kit that’s already heavy. When a stage doesn’t call for positional work, it runs as an all-around rear bag rather than riding along unused.
Two other versions of this bag exist, and customers wrote both of them. Shooters who never used the arm straps asked us to drop them — that’s the Strapless. Then shooters participating in land-nav matches, and hunters with real miles on the trails for the elusive shot, asked us to put a zipper on it and take the fill out, so they could stuff it with what was already in their pack — rain gear, a spare layer. That’s the Modular. Which one is yours →
